New Orleans. After her fiancé Tyler’s sudden death, the young Dr. Caroline Forbes falls in a deep depression. That is, until she discovers some old diaries belonged to one of her ancestors – some study about bringing life into dead subject – and that is why she has spent the last months digging graves and stealing equipment from her hospital.But before starting to work directly on her fiancé’s body, she decides to test her new discoveries on some corpse she has stolen from the nearby prison – where she has managed to enter as the doctor who supervises the executions. The body has belonged in life to a certain Niklaus Mikaelson – a quite dangerous person, with no relatives, or friends who would have recognize or looking for him in the case her experiment went fine.
WELL NOW THIS IS EASY. I would keep my neck the hell away from Henry VIII (it’s not as if the man has a nice and clean record regarding his wives, ifyouknowwhatImean?? so yeah I won’t be another chopped head on his belt. I don’t care if Jonathan Rhys Meyers played as a sexy playboy from the 1500 – I WON’T GIVE IN TO HIM).
So I choose Henry VII, who at least loved his wife until her death, precious baby.
Okay I think of Caroline as a sister, I couldn’t ever date her, not even in the fantasy world lmao. BUT REBEKAH. SEE BEKAH IS HOT AND CUTE AND I LOVE HER SASSY/SNARKY ATTITUDE. AND SHE’S A THOUSAND YEARS OLD. SHE KNOWS STUFF OKAY. SHE PROBABLY STARTED HAVING LIASONS WITH WOMEN TO PISS OFF HER BROTHERS BUT THEN SHE GOT INTRIGUED AND NOW – OOOH NOW IT’S ALL FOR PLEASURE. YEAH I’D DATE REBEKAH, HANDS DOWN, NO COMPETITION.
So I really love fusions and crossovers and there is this unique fic, Paradise Lost by @his-beloved-mrs-mikaelson. This is something really fascinating and extraordinary because relationships between Klaus and Caroline are so…deep, and emotional and there is so much more I can’t even describe it. It’s a Frankenstein Modern AU with Caroline as a Maker and Klaus as a Creature and this is a bittersweet, hurt/comfort story with some really fluffy and gentle (but heartbroking) moments.
