I would have watched a whole movie just of this version of the prince. The wig, costume, and makeup were GORGEOUS! I adored the half up/half down wig – it utilized the sausage-curls and hairbow without going full-on George Washington ponytail, while the loose curls are so much softer than those tight Charles II-style peruques.
For the makeup, the fact that they fully embraced the rococo men’s powder & rouge was fabulous on its own, but adding that blue butterfly bit around the eyes really brought it to the next level of beauty and exoticism.
The clothing – wonderfully excessive ornamentation here, perfect for a decadent prince. And I loved how they did a closeup of his beautiful heel-and-buckle shoes at one point.
A++ to the costumers here. A spectacular look.
